Another international consultant asked me to do her logo. Working for companies like Mercedes and other high end car manufacturers around the world, Natalie creates stellar copywriting and content.

So how would I portray this in her logo?
After ideating for a period of time, I discovered the duality between the world and the ball on a ballpoint pen.

So I capitalized on this.

I went through a few fonts, one more formal and another more playful, as you can see in my drafts below, and received feedback from the client that she liked Playscript. More of a handwriting font, it exudes "freelance copywriting" from its pores.


Challenges:
Getting the pen to look like a pen
Getting the font to look right in its placement
Portraying "Professional copywriting" and "international" in the same visuals.
